Cancellations Due to Weather

Guarantee Against Bad Weather

Our primary concern is safety. Should the weather be unsafe for charter operations as judged by our certified captain, we offer the following options:

  • Total Refund: A full refund if we are unable to reschedule
  • Change of Date: We will rearrange your charter to an alternate day at no extra cost
  • Credit for Future Use: A voucher that you can use within 12 months from your original charter date

Process for Weather Evaluation

We take the following factors into account for weather evaluations:

  • Analyzing wind velocity and patterns
  • Wave height and sea conditions
  • Visibility forecasts and amount of rainfall
  • Official warnings and notices from the Coast Guard
  • Assessments regarding safety from our professional captain

Decision Timing: Decisions on whether to cancel due to weather are made at least 4 hours before the set departure time.

Refund for Medical Emergencies

Special Circumstances

We are mindful of the fact that medical urgencies can arise. You may be eligible for consideration for a refund in these instances:

  • An unanticipated illness or injury necessitating hospital care
  • Passing of a member of the immediate family
  • Sudden military summons or deployment
  • Being called to jury duty or in response to a subpoena
  • Natural disasters that impact your itinerary

  • A doctor's note or hospital records

Processing: Emergency refunds are handled within 3-5 business days once the necessary documents are received.

Refunds Due to Operational Disruptions

Technical Difficulties

In case of mechanical failures that we are unable to resolve:

  • Replacement Vessel: We will do our best to offer a vessel of similar quality
  • Complete Refund: Should there be no equivalent alternatives available
  • Partial Repayment: If the replacement yacht has a differing fee structure
  • Compensation: We may additionally provide a token of goodwill for the inconvenience caused

Unavailability of Crew Members

In the uncommon event of certified crew unavailability:

  • We will make an effort to arrange an alternate crew
  • A full refund will be granted if we cannot proceed with the charter
  • An opportunity to reschedule without incurring additional fees

Should a charter be cut short due to the conduct of a guest or breaches of safety protocols:

  • No return of funds for the unspent period
  • The full amount is still owed
  • Possibility of incurring extra fees
